Blame

Destiny? Fate? Freewill? Most people think that we have a choice. But sometimes I just want a reason for all the stupid shit in life. Even if the reason is something as terrifying and crazy as a pre-determined life. Maybe God is pulling our strings. Maybe life is set in motion and we follow the path we are meant to. Or maybe we're just a computer program waiting for the push of a button. Maybe. Its funny really. We wish for choices that decide our future, but when they go they wrong way we want something to blame. I guess its easier to blame a mysterious power than ourselves because if we unhappily face who we are than how can we give ourselves the opportunity to choose again? How can we entrust all this faith in ourselves when we can't even make the right decision. But maybe the mistakes are worth it because sometimes the mistakes show us that destiny doesn't exist.

Lose Control

Sometimes the most important moments in life are the unexpected ones. The ones that bite you in the butt or fall head over heel. Memorable moments cannot be planned or pre-thought. They just happen. Think about your firsts. Did they happen because you wanted them to or because they just happened. You won't remember the dates you make or the tests you write. You won't remember the presents you buy or the holidays you booked off. You remember the spontaneous decision to go out to a new restaurant, the procrastination before the test, the gifts you make, and the holidays you crammed into your schedule. You remember whats forgotten during the present. One of the most memorable moments for me was letting go. Because that is unexpected for who I am. I guess what can be taken from this is make each moment memorable, allow yourself to let this happen. Lose control and find yourself.
